Set in a modern 21st century suburban city, Shelpey Alley centers around a generation of teenagers who have the unique ability to shapeshift. Two groups have arisen: known as gangs by the police, and called Guilds amongst themselves. The Thieves, and the Assassins; both named after the two groups of Shapeshifters known to have thrived in the Medieval times. The two guilds remain enemies, but one thing is shared between them: NEVER reveal your powers to anyone.
