Rhin scrambled back up the boulder beside the other wolf as a howl rose from the grass. "Hey, Veto," he chuffed, attention on the grass. Another wolf! He glanced around, and beside him, Rauku flapped his wings and craned his neck to see, but neither came up with anything.
"Stupid grass," he muttered under his breath, quickly tucking his head to lick at a few tufts of fur on his chest. Both tails wagged, relaxed, behind him, and he stretched, then laid down on the top of the boulder. The smooth rock had been warmed by the shining sun, and the adolescent yawned widely before resting his head on his outstretched forelegs.
Looking out from this angle the grass seemed to go on forever, but in the distance, he could see a few obtrusions. Other boulder patches, some trees, hills, the distant mountains that held the valley. They separated the sea of grass from the pale blue sky, which held scattered blots of cloud wisps. He let out a sigh and his eyes drifted shut.

The male continued to trek through the sea of grass. As a responding howl broke the silence he stopped, his stance stiffened slightly, it sounded closer than he would have thought. His green orbs scanned the area about him, but he saw nothing. Fang started to walk again, his pads lightly kissed the soft earth. His audits swiveled, he heard voices somewhere in the front. As he continued he saw figures infront and off to the side. He didn't want to spook them so he made his footfalls loud and made sure they would hear him as he approached. A series of barks and whines emitted from him in a form of greeting. His banner wagged to show his friendlyness. "My name is White Fang." he continued. Fang looked at the others, they didn't look 'normal.' Odd.

Veto gave a short whine as Rhin chuffed toward him, the brown wolf quickly jumped from the boulder and hopped toward its base as White Fang greeted them and introduced himself. Veto perked his four ears toward him and yipped out in a friendly way then said. " I'm Veto." His legs itched to let him fall so he could rest so Veto laid down, thinking this was rather submissive for him to just lay down when a new wolf walked out of no where and submissively greeted them just seconds ago, Veto perked all four of his ears, the two on top stood perfectly straight, as German Shepherd's ear do, the lower pair fanned straight out horizontal.
His tail lifted and the two black angelic/devil wings flapped silently, Veto's eyes narrowed slightly making him look submissively aggressive. The wolf let his two top jaw fangs poke out from his jet black lips, Veto then looked up toward Rhin to see his expression and reaction to White Fang. The brown wolf turned swiftly back to White Fang again, this time starring into his eyes to see if he'd look away or fight, although if he chose to fight Veto wouldn't be able to fend him off with his tired legs.
